Fonze's Veterinary Expenses - Chesapeake Safe Harbor
Dear Chesapeake Friends,

Greetings, wag of my tail and plenty of Roo-Roo's from Chesapeake Safe Harbor in Bremen, Maine. I am writing to you today because I have caused my two legged guardian parents alot of financial burden in the last month. My name is Fonze and I am a five year old very handsome and affectionate male chessie awaiting adoption who ate something terrible that I should not of. This required me to have, not 1 but 2 emergency surgeries costing poor Jane and Ron Peabody of Chesapeake Safe Harbor $4,249.55. This unexpected mishap of mine threw their yearly veterinary budget way off track. I am very thankful that out of the goodness of their hearts they never questioned to go ahead with my surgeries when I was deathly ill.

Surely you realize that Jane and Ron are very proud, big hearted humans who do not like to beg for much needed money to support all us big brown dogs awaiting adoption...that is why I borrowed the computer last night from the office in order to type this letter (excuse me, but it is difficult to type with my big paws. My claws keep getting in the way).

I, Fonze would appreciate it (and so would the Peabody's and Chesapeake Safe Harbor if you could help them with this fundraising to help cover my vet bills. Your tax-deductible gift will help my humans get out of this financial jam, that I put them in. If you are able to help please do before April 2nd. THANKS!!! I knew I could count on you (us brown dogs are great judges of character)! Well I gotta go now...It's time to Roo-Roo with the rest of my type in the kennel.

Sincerely,

Fonze, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Bremen, Maine
